Fast response nitric oxide inhalation/exhalation measurements

Nitric oxide (NO) is a powerful selective vasodilator and it is administered therapeutically as a treatment for pulmonary hypertension in neonates and adults. It is however quickly oxidised to nitrogen dioxide in the presence of oxygen, which is toxic. The Cambustion CLD50 fast-response nitric oxide and nitrogen dioxide analyser allows monitoring of both gases on the unprecedented timescale of a few milliseconds, allowing individual breaths to be resolved with high accuracy and sensitivity.
