Cambustion Presenting at the Cleanroom Technology Conference

We're presenting at the Cleanroom Technology Conference, Birmingham, U.K. this week. Senior Scientist Dr Simon Payne will be giving a talk entitled Insights into filtration performance of PPE and HVAC filters using size-classified particles at 14:40 on Thursday 25th May. His talk will cover the importance of size-based particle filter penetration measurements, but give some of the drawbacks with electrical mobility size-based measurements, including inaccuracies caused by particle charging and the consequent limitation on the upper size achievable. He'll go on to present data using the Cambustion AAC to make aerodynamic diameter based measurements of the penetration thorough filter materials over a wide size range, showing equivalence for the techniques for a known aerosol source, but without the aforementioned drawbacks in the case of the AAC.
