Driven by expansion of this business area, we seek an additional Aerosol Support & Applications engineer, to join the team supporting global customers for our aerosol science instrumentation.
Engaging closely with existing and prospective customers around the world (both in person and remotely), you'll develop a detailed understanding of their technical requirements, assisting them in establishing the suitability of Cambustion equipment and offer support through commissioning and beyond.
As your understandding of customer requirements and instruments issues develops, you'll be involved in ongoing product development.
Working in a global SME, you'll have opportunities to rapidly gain stills and experience across a very broad range of areas (including business and product development) while maintaining appropriate focus on the details.
Connect with our customers, both remotely and in person.
Understand customer needs, through from pre-sales, design of experiment and evaluation of customer data
Identify opportunities for product improvement
Provide application technical support to customers
Have a science or engineering background at degree level or equivalent
Are comfortable with both theoretical and hands on engineering and science
Enjoy learning new skills and self-developing your understanding in response to technical challenges
Have an appreciation for the commercial and technical aspects of business
Are driven to deliver good technical solutions and identify opportunities for improvement
Are confident being the face of a company, and are an independent traveller

The role is full time at 35 hours per week.
Salary from £30k+
+ Profit Share (variable, but typically 10% of salary in recent years)
