FID5 is here!

Our new entry level fast Flame Ionisation Detector, the FID5 is here, joining the higher specification FID50 and HFR500 in our hydrocarbon gas measuring product range. With response times from 3 ms and a compact package it is suitable for portable gas leak detection, for following tracer gas in dispersion studies and wind tunnel measurements, and for monitoring process control.

It is available in two variants, the standard single box setup above, and the FID5-R with a smaller Remote head which can be placed up to 1 m from the control box:
