Cambustion at AFS Filtcon 2024, Houston

We are looking forward to being in Houston next week for the American Filtration & Separations (AFS Society) Filtcon 2024!

Come to stand 107 on the expo floor at the Marriott Westchase to find out about Cambustion's instruments for aerosol filtration research, and chat with our expert Dr. Simon Payne.

At 1.30 pm on Tuesday 9th April in the Grand Foyer, Simon will present a product review featuring the Aerodynamic Aerosol Classifier (AAC) and Differential Mobility Spectrometer (DMS), with examples of their applications for filtration studies (including measurements of particle capture in face masks, air filter media and a 3D printer extraction system).

In the technical sessions he will also present "Classifying Aerosol Particles by Aerodynamic Diameter to Improve Accuracy of Size-Resolved Filtration Measurements" on Wednesday 10th April at 2:50 pm in Salon F-H. This paper will cover in detail the issues with selecting nanoparticles by electrical mobility for determining the most penetrating particle size of filter media, and how these complications are eliminated using the AAC with its significantly higher transmission efficiency.
